Shanklin Fire Station in 1906

Here are a couple of postcards posted in 1906 and 1907.  They are of Shanklin’s Fire Station and the horse drawn fire vehicle, the building today is Shanklin’s Library.

It’s interesting to see that a large crowd has developed and to note all the hats!
